Self-driving vehicles to operate in New Clark City during SEA Games July 25, 2019 TweetEmail TweetEmail Self-driving vehicles will shuttle athletes around the New Clark City during the 30th Southeast Asian Games in November, the operator of the Central Luzon smart city said Tuesday. Three self-driving shuttles would be tested in 3 months, the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) said. The Coast P-1 shuttles were made by US-based mobility company COAST Autonomous, and could fit up to 20 people, BCDA said. The low-speed vehicles will take athletes to and from the Athletes’ Village, Athletics Stadium at Aquatics Center where about half of the 543 games would be held.
